Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support.

**About the Role** We are seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in Morayfield. Shifts are available in the early mornings, afternoons, and evenings, from 6 AM to 10 PM.

In this role, you will provide 1 on 1 support to our customers, in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes or within the community.You’ll assist individuals with various disabilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and help create a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. **Other responsibilities may include**:

- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and managing laundry.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Monitor and assist with the management of epilepsy and diabetes, ensuring appropriate care and support.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience providing support for individuals with high needs and complex behaviors
- Experience with PBSP (advantage)
- Knowledge in epilepsy and diabetes management (advantage)

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
- CPR and First Aid certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- NDIS orientation module certificate
