**Qualifications & experience**
Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability or minimum 1 year previous experience working in Disability
- NDIS worker screening & Working with Children Check
- Current drivers license
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Applicants must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of technology used for rosters, recording progress notes, policies and procedures etc
- Empathy, patience and a genuine desire or passion for helping others
- Be very flexible with availability, working afternoon shifts which may increase during school holiday periods.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Support and assist participants to perform daily living tasks
- Support and assist participants to engage with their communities
- Support participants to develop their skills, abilities and confidence
- Build relationships with participants whilst maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Promote and assist participants to live an active, healthy lifestyle
- Support clients to achieve their personal and NDIS goals
- Follow all policies and procedures and record daily progress reports for supports provided.

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $35.15 - $77.81 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
