**About the Role**:
As a Software Development Manager at Nightingale Software, you will play a pivotal role in driving & leading the team that develops and delivers our ERP software built on the Microsoft tech stack and deployed on the Azure public cloud. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and mentoring a team of 9 developers to achieve project goals and professional growth.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
- Creating and managing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on the Microsoft tech stack and Azure services.
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Facilitating effective communication between teams and stakeholders.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, challenges, and roadblocks.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Managing budgets and resource allocation for tools, training, and cloud resources.
- Upholding security and compliance standards within the software development process.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry stakeholders.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone who possesses the following;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in software development with a strong background in the Microsoft tech stack, Azure cloud services, and software architecture.
- Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a leadership or management role, leading teams of software developers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
- Experience in the disability services industry or similar sectors is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, PMP, or similar are advantageous
