**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Manage the supply of products & services across the Johns Lyng Regional NSW business
- Devise & use fruitful procurement & sourcing strategies to maintain business growth
- Discover suppliers & initiate business & organisational partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of good & services
- Finalise purchase details of orders & deliveries
- Examine & test existing contracts
- Track & report key functional metrics to reduce expenses & improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with management to ensure clarity of specifications & expectations of business goals
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers & clients
- Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data & prepare appropriate control strategies
- Perform risk management for supply contracts & agreements
- Control spend & help build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Prior experience as a Procurement Officer
- Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration degree advantageous, however not essential
- Excellent negotiating & networking skills
- Computer literacy
- Experience collating & managing data
- Knowledge of sourcing & procurement techniques
- Ability to develop strong relationships
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive & pro-active attitude
- Ability to manage a demanding and changing workload & competing priorities
