As part of your new role, you will:

- Provide technical support for Mining System Applications
- Install, test and repair mine systems equipment on heavy vehicles in a mining environment
- Scoping and implementing system enhancements based on customer requirements
- Liaison with the Mining Systems and Operational Teams to ensure systems are maintained in such a way that they provide a high level of data accuracy and integrity

Programmed is seeking **Mining Systems Technician** to work at our client site **Hunter Valley Operations.**

**As part of your new role, you will**:

- Provide technical support for Mining System Applications
- Install, test and repair mine systems equipment on heavy vehicles in a mining environment
- Scoping and implementing system enhancements based on customer requirements
- Liaison with the Mining Systems and Operational Teams to ensure systems are maintained in such a way that they provide a high level of data accuracy and integrity

**We would love to talk to you if you hold**:

- Qualifications in Electrotechnology, Communications, Electronics.
- Understanding in RF Theory and IP Network operations.
- Experience with mining communication software and hardware installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a large team environment.
- Problem-solving and time management skills

**Requirements**:

- Safe and productive work ethic
- Be able to provide competencies/certificates
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Provide recent work referees in a supervisory role
- Undergo and pass a Coal Board Medical and D&A test
- Residential address in the Hunter Valley, no FIFO or camp facilities available

**NOTE**: This is a residential role, no FIFO or camp facilities available.
