**Your new opportunity**:
The team at Penske Australia have an opening for a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their experienced and dedicated workshop team at our **Singleton branch**.
In this role you will be carrying out servicing across our diverse range of premium brands and getting hands-on within a dynamic team environment.
- Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs.
- Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.
- Provide great customer service.
- Carry out hands on service work in both the workshop and field environments.
**About you**:
- Trade qualified Diesel Technician with experience in heavy vehicles and/or industry.
- Practical knowledge of a service operation with expertise in operating machinery, tools and equipment;
- Have a strong background maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles;
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in American or European Trucks, eg Volvo, Mack Scania or Kenworth. Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, Detroit and Allison Transmission product is desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions;
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Purpose & Values.
