**About the role**

Are you an experienced technician with extensive experience on hydraulic mining shovels or hydraulic mining excavators? We want to hear from you

As a Field Service Technician with WesTrac, you will utilise your product knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot Caterpillar equipment on an array of mine sites across the Hunter Valley. This role will see you working independently from a tool-of-trade vehicle as you perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on customer mining shovels and excavators.

Caterpillar 6040, 6060 & 6090 experience preferred.

Option 1- Lifestyle Roster (14/28 days within a cycle)
- 12 hour shifts with rotation of **day and night shifts**:

- Product Support Allowance, Shift Allowance, Location Allowance
- Hourly Rates starting from $63.69+
- Overtime Rate* starting from $95.54+
- paid on any hours worked outside your rostered shifts

Option 2- Lifestyle Roster (14/28 days within a cycle)
- 12 hour shifts - **day shift only**:

- Product Support Allowance, Shift Allowance, Location Allowance
- Hourly Rates starting from $57.38+
- Overtime Rate* starting from $86.07+
- paid on any hours worked outside your rostered shifts

Option 3- Monday to Thursday
- 12 hour shifts - **day shift only**:

- Product Support Allowance, Shift Allowance, Location Allowance
- Hourly Rates starting from $57.38+
- Overtime Rate* starting from $86.07+
- paid on any hours worked outside your rostered shifts

**So, what are we looking for?**
- CERT III Mobile Plant Qualification preferred (including Certificate of Proficiency)
- Several years post-trade experience in a similar role
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence
- Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
- Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
