**About the role**

WesTrac Tomago is seeking a trade qualified technician to ensure the quality and compliance of Machine Re-builds for our largest Mining customers. This role is a Monday - Friday day shift roster working 5 x 10.5-hour shifts, with overtime available on occasion.

Reporting to the Branch Manager - Rebuilds you will be responsible for the following:

- Inspecting rebuild machine assemblies to ensure customer requirements are met and Caterpillar quality standards are maintained
- Identifying any defects
- Liaising with the broader workshop team to ensure project deadlines are adhered to
- Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Utilise a high level of technical skill and mechanical aptitude to add value to the machine rebuild process
- Continually seek out and develop improvements to the QA process

**Skills & Experience**
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of SIS and DBS (desirable)
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of equipment assembly process and Caterpillar product (desirable)
- Advanced time management and ability to prioritise busy workloads
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
