**Job Description**:
As a Project Assistant at Templeton Built, you will play a vital role in facilitating smooth project operations, effective communication, and efficient coordination among team members. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, extensive construction knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in using Google Docs and other relevant online collaboration tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, including managing project documentation, preparing reports, and maintaining project files using Google Docs.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and updating stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and information.
- Support the Project Manager and Site Supervisor in monitoring project budgets and expenses.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels among team members, ensuring the timely dissemination of project information.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, including reviewing and editing proposals and contracts.
- Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Extensive construction knowledge and understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in using Google Docs and other online collaboration tools.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is required.
- A relevant qualification in project management, construction management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Must have Australian work rights.
