**The Opportunity**

As Medibank continue to invest in innovative, forward-thinking initiatives, we’re looking for a remarkable human to join our Cloud Engineering team.

The Cloud Tech lead will actively interface with software developers, network engineers, systems, storage, project management and database administrators on projects and provide second tier on call support when required. You will be able to identify root cause, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of BAU and project initiatives along with learning and growing in a supportive environment.

**Where you can add value**
- Become the primary Cloud consultant, providing technical advice to both IT and business stakeholders by utilising internal and external knowledge sources and research capabilities
- Create design documentation for running enterprise systems in Azure
- Ensure the Cloud team strictly adheres to Medibank’s Security Guidelines ensuring Regulatory Compliance, Data Privacy and Data Security
- Manage competing priorities through quarterly and sprint planning and set expectations aligning with the overall goals of the business
- Lead the team in setting up solutions to monitor and support our Public Cloud resources in Azure, and the peripheral infrastructure

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud professional, who considers themselves an Azure SME.

You are a genuine cloud technology enthusiast with a high degree of self-motivation and have strong problem solving and decision-making skills - we’re looking for a big picture thinker. You are an autonomous worker but also enjoy working with teams and stakeholders and are happy to mentor and partner with our offshore colleagues.

You can be based anywhere in Australia, working from home, with the opportunity to connect and collaborate in Melbourne on occasion.
