**About the role**
- The Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader supports a team of 5 in delivery of the activity program. People living in the Eastern Health residential aged care homes: Monda Lodge in Healesville and Murrenda Aged Care Home in Wantirna are the recipients of the program.
- The role holder leads the program, operational and management requirements whilst being a key member of the senior RAC Services management team. The program is well established and would benefit from an experienced person with Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications to support the team.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator or Assistant
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- Excellent coordination, delegation and prioritisation skills
- Experienced in working with people who are diagnosed with dementia, cognitive decline and / or mental health conditions.
- Holds a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification
- Has 5 years’ experience in an aged care or mental health environment
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
