**About the Role**
As a Lifestyle Coordinator you will design amazing life experiences for our clients

You will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of leisure and social opportunities in conjunction with clients, families and other members of the healthcare team - this includes program and care plan development, and input into lifestyle expenditure.

The role also includes working collaboratively with clinical staff in providing guidance to, for example, Personal Support Workers and Lifestyle Assistants, to ensure clients are encouraged to actively participate in leisure activities of interest to them, and clients’ other needs, such as emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs are also supported. The Lifestyle Coordinator reports directly to the Residence Manager.

We are interested in hearing from applicants with experience in aged care and events coordination, and are degree qualified in areas such as leisure and health, events management, arts, community development, recreation or similar fields. You must be passionate about Aged Care, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills to enrich the lives of our clients.

**Skills & Experience**
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Successful applicants must have a Cert IV or Diploma in Leisure and Health or equivalent
- Current working with children check
- Drivers license (driving the lifestyle bus is an integral part of the role)
- Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative lifestyle events
- Ability to involve community, relatives, staff and volunteers
- Develop strategies to increase client participation
- Ensure all events run smoothly and to budget while meeting expectation of clients
- The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
- An approachable and caring demeanour
- A pro-active and energetic self-starter with a strong customer service focus
- Proven success in contributing to service excellence and promotional activities
- Established background in events management, project management and people management
