Royal Freemasons Burwood is seeking a full time Lifestyle Coordinator to focus on the social well-being and physical activities to promote consumer choice and independence.

The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of the leisure and lifestyle program designed to promote and enable physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, cultural and social wellbeing and independence of residents.

**About You**

As a focused, highly organised, and a self-motivated Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be required to plan, develop, and deliver an innovative activities program for our residents. As a person who can build and maintain relationships, you will be required to oversee and motivate our Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers and just as importantly you will posses a positive demeanor and warm smile to brighten the day of our residents and have a genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of residents.

**Key Requirements**
- Minimum Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an Aged Care setting (desirable)
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families/representatives
- Demonstrated ability to planning and coordinate events, bus outings and group activities
- Demonstrated understanding of the differing cognitive, social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
- Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office

**Mandatory vaccines**

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged to receive the flu vaccine. All successful applicants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
