**More about what you'll do**

The Product Manager will drive business revenue and profit through strategic supplier management and product ranging for the allocated Minor Category. The Product Manager is assigned Product Minors to support the Senior Category Manager who manages a specific Category Portfolio.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Drive a strategic selection approach of business partners to source and negotiate product range, price and trading terms
- Create strategic plans, marketing programs and pricing that deliver category growth
- Manage and communicate supplier non-conformances and corrective actions activities
- Identify and communicate potential cost reduction/sourcing opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure online presence maximizing basket size value
- Ensure total compliance to all Company policies, processes and procedures, including WH&S and Environmental policies and SOP’s.
- Participate in training programs offered by the Company

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

- Previous role of Category Assistant or similar
- Exposure to supply chain negotiations and create strategic plans that deliver on category growth
- Self-sufficient, autonomous and driven by managing your own piece of business
- Extremely savvy and commercially aware
- Organised and excellent time management
- Strategically minded and forward thinking
- Autonomous and self-sufficient
- Analytical and precise
- Strong business acumen combined with commercial awareness
- Understanding of supply chain
- Eye for detail
