**THE ROLE**

The Network Settlements Analyst is part of the Network Performance Group and reports to the Network Settlements & Market Data Manager. The role is mainly responsible for reconciling & settling all network & metering charges, maintaining effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders, driving improved billing through market data accuracy & service levels and to provide advice on retail billing discrepancies.

**Other Responsibilities include**:

- Manage the verification and payment of network & metering charges to ensure that all Network Use of System and/or Distribution Use of System charges are verified and paid
- Ensure disputes are raised where appropriate, and manage the dispute resolution process
- Investigate, engage and respond to enquiries from internal & external parties in relation to charges/payments/settlement processes
- Identify opportunities to add value to Origin Energy through business process or system enhancements

**ABOUT YOU**

You will consider yourself someone with strong experience in data analytics and data insights; effective communication and negotiation skills. In addition, you will also demonstrate flexibility, the ability to multitask and to deliver under tight timeframes.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce/Accounting /Statistics
- Significant experience in data analysis and business process analysis
- Significant experience in reconciliation & settlements of data
- Significant operational experience in dealing with data related issues from both internal, external and market sources
