**Purpose of the role**

The purpose of the Quality Champion Partner role is to support our commitment to elevate the voices of people with disability who receive services from Achieve Australia.The Quality Champion Partner is a key support to the Quality Champion, a person with lived experience of disability. The pair work together to engage people with disability to gather and generate direct feedback on the quality of supports and services delivered by Achieve using a discussion guide. The feedback is approved by the person and transformed into actionable insights and recommendations to improve service quality over time.

Achieve has been providing services to people with disability since the 1950s. Today, we are a registered NDIS provider offering integrated clinical, health, social and disability services in accommodation, community participation, supported employment and support coordination services in the Greater Sydney and in Northern Rivers regions in NSW.

**About the role**
- Support and encourage the Quality Champion’s full participation in the Quality Champions Program.
- Participate in the induction and orientation program, and ongoing Achieve Australia mandatory training relevant to role.
- Mentor and support the Quality Champion to uplift skills and expertise including, but not limited to, effective partnerships, networking, and communication with people with a range of support needs.
- Be actively involved in planning, conducting first and follow up interviews and recording feedback using approved templates to ensure integrity of data in keeping with program logic.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Achieve Australia clients involved in the Quality Champion Program.
- Analyse initial interview data and reports to determine if actionable insights and recommendations have been implemented to improve service quality.

**About you**
- Experience working with people with disability and understanding of principles of human rights
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and commitment to support people based on their needs and aspirations.
- Knowledge and understanding of the critical importance of providing high quality customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise people.
- Ability to travel independently.
- Flexible availability to conduct interviews with Achieve Australia clients at a location of their choice.
- Motivation and interest in conducting quality and practice assessments with people with disability.
- Ability to modify communication style to suit various target audiences.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programs.
- Current NSW Drivers’ License
- To not be affiliated with Achieve Australia
