**Purpose of the role**
The purpose of the Quality Champion Partner role is to help elevate the voices of people with disability who receive services from Achieve Australia (our clients). The Quality Champion Partner is a key support to the Quality Champion role, a person with lived experience of disability. Quality Champions and Quality Champion Partners work together to engage persons with disability who are supported by Achieve to generate direct feedback on the quality of those support services. This feedback will be transformed into actionable insights and recommendations to improve service quality over time.

Achieve has been providing services to people with disability since the 1950s. Today, we are a registered NDIS provider offering integrated clinical, health, social and disability services in accommodation, community participation, supported employment and support coordination services in the Greater Sydney and in Northern Rivers regions in NSW.
**About the role**
- Support and encourage the Quality Champion’s full participation in the Quality Champions Program.
- Participation in orientation program, and ongoing Achieve Australia training sessions, as required.
- Provide mentorship and support to the Quality Champion to assist with skill development (including, but not limited to, effective partnership, networking, and communication skills).
- Conduct interviews and observations of participants’ living environment, supports and connections with their community and collaboratively draft a report for Management review.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Achieve Australia clients involved in the Quality Champion Program.
- Conduct follow up interviews with Quality Champion Program participants, to determine if actionable insights and recommendations have been implemented to improve service quality.
**About you**
- Knowledge and experience in working with people with disability
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people and experience in supporting and guiding them
- Experience in delivering on the job training
- Knowledge and understanding of the critical importance of providing high standard customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise people.
- Ability to travel independently.
- Flexible availability to conduct interviews with Achieve Australia clients.
- A reflective worker, who is person centred and inclusive.
- Motivation and interest in conducting quality assessments with Achieve Australia clients.
- Ability to modify communication style to suit various target audiences.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programs.
- Current NSW Drivers’ License
- To not be affiliated with Achieve Australia
