**The Role**
Working to the Business Hub’s Assistant Director’s broad direction, you will:

- Provide administrative support and management and support to the Hub’s activities including triaging enquiries, managing service level agreement workflows and managing the Business Hub’s various reporting requirements;
- Contribute to the development and delivery of ODIS’s program information products that will support the diverse range of industry enquiries and executive tasks the Business Hub is responsible for or has a supporting role;
- Have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of activities within and across the ODIS teams;

**About our Team**
ODIS is the one-stop-shop for Defence industry support and guidance. ODIS provides a seamless experience for business to engage with Defence. It is the trusted link for Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to enter or expand their footprint in the Defence industry.

The core function of ODIS, through its offices around Australia, is to provide advisory, guidance and mentoring services to SMEs. ODIS also works with State and Territory agencies, industry associations and Defence business partners, to position the Defence industry to deliver capability that equips and sustains the Australian Defence Force.

Industry Development and Support Directorate (ID&SD) within ODIS works closely with Defence stakeholders by providing exceptional customer service on Defence Industry matters.
- Excellent knowledge of, and recent experience in, administration processes and procedures including coordination of a range of activities;
- A sound understanding of compliance, assurance and probity issues and management;
- Strong writing, editing and presentation skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Identify, prioritise your work and manage time-conflicting tasks;
- Confidence working independently and responding to changing priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to build positive and constructive relationships with colleagues, management and other stakeholders in Defence and ODIS’s service providers;
- Strong team building and collaboration skills;
- An understanding of Defence’s procurement and contracting landscape;
- Small business understanding and business acumen;
- High familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
