**About Business Grants Hub**:
The Business Grants Hub was established under the Streamlining Government Grants Administration program led by the Department of Finance. The initiative aims to deliver simpler, more consistent and efficient grant administration across government making it easier for businesses and individuals to access government services.

The Business Grants Hub is responsible for establishment and management of granting programs in partnership with other Commonwealth departments. Working closely with policy agencies to ensure successful delivery of outcomes across government, the Business Grants Hub supports streamlining of government grants to improve business interactions and service delivery.

**Grants Officer, APS Level 4**:

**Grants Officer, APS Level 5**:

- experience in grant program design, program delivery and/or contract management; _however_ transferable skills and relevant experience in design and delivery of programs or shared services will also be considered;
- demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- the ability to work in a team under limited supervision to deliver quality outcomes;
- strong IT and systems skills.

**Grants Manager, APS Level 6**:

- high-level experience in grant program design, program delivery and/or contract management; _however_ transferable skills and relevant experience in design and delivery of programs or shared services will also be considered;
- demonstrated ability to supervise and manage team workflows including setting priorities and ensuring quality outcomes;
- highly proficient oral and written communication skills and a strong ability to negotiate to reach a mutual agreement;
- strong relationship management skills including proven ability to establish and support complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- well-developed research and analysis skills and the ability to reach evidence based conclusions;
- strong IT and systems skills.

**What you will do**:
As a Grants Manager or a Grants Officer you will:

- Undertake program delivery activities;
- Manage contracts with businesses and organisations across multiple programs;
- Communicate and engage effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
- Use internal systems and tools for grants, contract and customer relationship management and ensure input of quality information and data;
- Provide support and training to members of the team and build a positive and productive culture.

Grant Officers (APS Level 4) undertake tasks of moderate complexity under general direction and assist in the delivery of public-facing government programs. In addition to the general duties outlined above you will:
Grants Officers (APS Level 5) undertake moderately complex work under limited direction and assist in the delivery and management of public-facing government programs. In addition to the general duties outlined above you will:

- Provide input to program briefing and Whole-of-Government reporting;
- Coordinate small teams performing related tasks/activities.

Grants Managers (APS Level 6) undertake complex work under limited direction and assist in the development, delivery and management of public-facing government programs. In addition to the general duties outlined above you will:

- Manage and supervise team workflows, support and train team members;
- Manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including businesses, industry groups and other government departments;
- Produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
