**The Role**
The APS 6 Data Manager is accountable under limited direction, to perform and achieve data management and records management work within an integrated workforce. The role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently, responsible for day-to-day data management within our corporate tools as well as supporting the Governance and Assurance EL 1 with additional ad-hoc tasks.

The APS 6 Data Manager will:

- Plan, lead and manage the day to day tasks associated with Data and Records Management within Air Defence Systems Branch (ADSB)
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and build good working relationships as the sole POC for assistance and general enquiries
- Create processes and procedures (where applicable) and maintain records management systems in line with Defence policies and procedures
- Collate, interpret and present data as well as update and maintain the House of Governance (HoG) and/or SharePoint sites as a secondary function.

Air Defence Systems Branch are seeking a high-performing Data Manager who enjoys a challenge and is comfortable working with competing priorities; responding and adapting to new and changing circumstances; and maintaining strong attention to detail. You will have experience or interest in working in dynamic team environments; engaging with diverse stakeholders; using initiative solutions to solve problems and developing advice for senior Defence leaders.

You will have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and client focused. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, be accountable, and a high level of integrity.
