**About the role**:
We are searching for a Electrical Team Leader to join our Steelmaking Department. This critical leadership role which holds responsibilities for the overall shift operation, and will be overseeing the safety, performance and planning of all shift personnel. This position will lead a team of electricians and coordinate their schedule of work with the achievement of meeting the maintenance needs of our Steelmaking Department.

The expectations of this role is for a wide range of electrical maintenance activities associated with the operations of a large industrial manufacturing facility. The electrical team executes the short and long-term electrical maintenance and improvement activities on the plant, including;
- Ensuring the ongoing availability, reliability and capability of the plant power distribution, control and automation systems
- Maintenance and breakdown/ repair activities
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in process, systems and equipment
- Nominated upgrades

**Successors**:
The success of this role demonstrates the following:

- Certificate III or IV in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Practical experience within a leadership role
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks to achieve required deadlines
- Expert fault-finding
- A background in all electrical maintenance and maintenance planning work
- Experience with PLC, instrumentation and power distribution work
- A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Safety and customer as core personal values
