This will encompass all aspects of forecasting, ordering, pricing, communication with dispatch regarding delivery and transport optimisation, SKU lifecycle management, aged inventory management and general customer enquiries, together with the dissemination of market information and maintenance of appropriate systems.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Strategically manage senior level customers’ supply requirements in line with service agreement
- Respond to all customer order delivery dates timely and in a professional manner
- Maintain relationships with customers through professional phone manner and face to face client visits
- Contribute to the Sales, Operations and Account Management Team through presenting supply & demand data to internal & external stakeholders
- Management of weekly forecast and replenishment strategies through promotional and event forecasting through sales analysis in collaboration with Buying and Marketing teams
- Minimise shrinkages through implementation of improved forecasting accuracy
- Process new and existing Purchase Orders for customers

- Planning experience
- SAP & SAP APO experience
- Understanding of Demand Planning - Product Lifecycle management
- Have insight into manufacturing/customer businesses
- Have a sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail
- Sound oral and written communication skills
