We're looking for a proactive and people-focused **People and Culture Coordinator (VPS3 OR VPS4)** to join our clients team and provide HR support across key areas such as employee relations, performance, and workforce planning. In this role, you'll partner with leaders and staff to deliver practical advice, drive positive culture, and support key people initiatives. We're seeking a motivated and solutions-focused **People and Culture Coordinator (VPS3 or VPS4)** to join our clients **public sector** people and culture team. In this role, you'll provide trusted HR advice and operational support across a broad range of people matters including employee relations, performance, policy interpretation, workforce planning, and organisational development initiatives.
You'll work closely with people leaders and employees alike, building positive relationships and promoting a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports both their people and the broader community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice and support on employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and initiatives.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with People and Culture colleagues.
- Contribute to workforce planning, diversity and inclusion efforts, and capability development.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and foster a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Support ened to end recruitment activities - experience working within a public sectro recruitment team advantageous
**About You**:
- You bring experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within the public sector or a large, complex organisation.
- You're a strong communicator who can provide practical, timely, and compliant advice to stakeholders at all levels.
- You have a good understanding of relevant industrial instruments, legislation, and contemporary HR practices.
- You're proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement - for yourself and for the organisation.
