As the OOSH Nominated Supervisor, you are expected to oversee the operations of the service, lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality education and care to school aged children.
We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic **OOSH Nominated Supervisor / Educational Leader** to join our successful and well-established service at **East Maitland.**
Maintaining a work life balance, this position will be offered on a **permanent part-time basis**, with the option of working split or block shifts (35 hours per week), across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs for children aged 5 - 12 years old.
Hours for vacation care programs operate between 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday (approx. 8 hours per day). It would be an expectation to be available for most of these shifts.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA**
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children with the centre curriculum
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education or OOSH Centre
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in Children’s Services **or** Certificate III in Children’s Services (minimum of 3 years’ experience) as identified by Australian Children’s Education and care Authority
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Child protection qualification
