YHA Blue Mountains, nestled in the central area of Katoomba, is a 240-bed facility catering to groups and individuals as well as both domestic and international travelers. This historic site boasts extensive communal amenities, a co-working area, ample space for groups and events, and a diverse range of private and shared rooms. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast service, with the option of catering for groups and those attending meetings. A dedicated team of up to 12 staff members strives to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

**About the role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and presentation of the property and support the team. This is a part time position with a minimum of 15 hours per week. You will be a hands-on leader of the small team, training and mentoring them to ensure pristine standards are maintained. Under your remit is the upkeep of communal areas, bathrooms, and guest rooms, managing inventory, and constantly reviewing policies and procedures to ensure we maintain standards you can be proud of.

**What are we looking for**:

- Previous leadership experience in housekeeping or cleaning, leading and motivating a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional results
- Good time management skills and a commitment to following policy and procedure to ensure the safety of the team and our guests
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
