Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a keen interest in mental health and suicide prevention? SA Health is seeking an exceptional Nurse Consultant to undertake a crucial role as a Nurse Consultant - Research Coordinator

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager this is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking clinical trial investigating MyAPT-SP, a pioneering suicide prevention telephone-based intervention. Duties for the role will include:

- Recruiting eligible participants from nominated emergency departments, meticulously following the study protocol
- Coordination and leadership of projects and/or programs and/or research that contribute clinical expertise to improve patient/client/service outcomes and/or service delivery.
- Providing management support in a specific work portfolio/s; and improving staff training.

**About you**:

- Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate
- Must be enrolled in an approved course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
