**Emergency Department Secretary: Facilitating Excellence in Healthcare**

Join SA Health as an Emergency Department Secretary and play a vital role in supporting our medical teams. In this short-term, part-time contract position at Flinders Medical Centre, you'll provide essential clerical support to senior consultants and nursing leadership. Leverage your exceptional organizational and communication abilities to thrive in this fast-paced healthcare environment.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the SALHN Medical/Nursing Director and the Emergency Department Clerical Manager, the Emergency Department Secretary will provide a comprehensive reception and secretarial service for the Flinders Medical Centre Emergency Department. Some of your responsibilities may include:

- Diary Management/room bookings.
- General administrative support to the ED leadership team.
- Minute taking and meeting coordination.
- Report creation and data entry.
- Stock management.

**About you**:

- Ability to organise and prioritise work and to meet deadlines.
- Experience in data entry and the use of a variety of office equipment.
- Understanding and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management, other staff and a broad range of individuals and groups.
