**Company Overview**:
Our client, an ASX-listed mineral exploration company is currently seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to drive discovery and development of its key Australian projects. With a primary focus on lithium, gold, and base metals, the business is currently advancing a suite of projects situated in tier one jurisdiction known for some of Australia’s major producing lithium & gold operations.

**Position Overview**:
As the Exploration Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, designing and executing exploration activities across company assets. Your leadership and technical prowess will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and advancing lithium, gold, and base metal targets across company tenure. You will manage a team of geology staff and contractors while collaborating closely with a well-known and highly experienced board to ensure seamless project execution and optimal resource development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of geologists, field staff and contractors to execute exploration activities effectively and efficiently;
- Develop and implement strategic exploration plans aligned with company objectives, ensuring a balanced approach between key projects;
- Oversee geological and geophysical surveys, drilling programs, sampling campaigns, and data interpretation;
- Identify and evaluate exploration targets through comprehensive data analysis, geological mapping, and prospectivity assessments;
- Collaborate with external consultants and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards;
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for exploration projects while ensuring cost-effective and sustainable work plans;
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the exploration team.

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant degree in Geoscience discipline or a related field; postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous;
- Extensive experience in mineral exploration, with a proven track record of managing successful exploration projects in Western Australia;
- Strong understanding of Western Australia's geological landscape, deposit types, and exploration challenges;
- Proficiency in utilising geological software and data analysis tools for efficient project evaluation and resource estimation;
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team;
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences;
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical business practices.
