Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Contact Centre Officer on a contract for 10 months.

**Position Overview**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Under the general direction of the Team Leader:

- Work accurately and manage conflicting tasks to meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Provide high level customer service, over the phone, or in writing.
- Carryout general administrative functions such as data entry, scanning, indexing, searching of databases, opening and distribution of mail.
- Assist the team to achieve outcomes through designated programs and maintaining the ACT's statutory obligations under legislation.
- Maintain records in accordance with the Territory Records Act 2002.
- Contribute to Revenue Management Group operations and perform other duties as directed.
- Model a flexible and responsive approach to broader organisational changes.
- Understand and work within the ACTPS Code of Conduct and ACTPS values of respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation, and model behaviour consistent with the ACTPS Respect Equity and Diversity framework.

This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.

This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.

**WHAT YOU REQUIRE - Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated ability to process work accurately and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated customer service and quality assurance skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Well-developed problem solving skills in a fast paced / high pressure environment.
- Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence.
- Understanding of public service values covering ethical standards and a demonstrated self awareness, professionalism and a proven commitment to the ongoing integration of workplace respect, equity and diversity work practices and workplace health and safety principles and practices.
