_**Spare Parts Interpreter**_

**What we are looking for**:

- **Product Knowledge** - develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products sold.
- Experience with SAP an advantage
- Provide prompt, accurate and efficient customer support with parts interpretation and provide solutions for alternatives when necessary.
- Assist with management of breakdown orders to provide customers with a prompt same day resolution or advice on anticipated delivery
- Implement or manage changes required to parts information with regards to errors and missing information from parts catalogues in conjunction with other parts team members
- Contribute to the parts cataloguing and parts data file management requirements of the parts team
- **Diligence** - Alert supervisor and/or other staff to issues and discrepancies as a priority. Contribute to problem resolution

**Key Tasks**
- Courteous manner & prompt answering of phones.
- Monitor key spare parts stocking levels in line with historical demand and/or seasonality and provide advice to the purchasing team on order requirements, minimum inventory levels and changes in demand.
- Capacity to develop and maintain a knowledge of the products sold.
- Grow and promote aftersales and service business Silvan Australia.
- Ability and knowledge necessary to accurately interpret customer parts requirements.
- Agricultural, **automotive** or industrial spare parts knowledge and usage of parts information and interpretation systems - manual and/or electronic
- Good communication and problem resolution skills.

**Requirement / Skills**
- Formal **mechanical qualification** or Automotive spare parts experience
- Competency of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level customer service skills & customer driven.
- Driven to work with the Team and collaborate.
