- My client is a leading international financial institution considered a market leader in the Australian payments industry.
- A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and high performing Senior FP&A / Finance Partner to join the Corporate Finance team. You will play a critical role in delivering insights to key stakeholders including; CEO, CFO and key Business Unit Directors. The role will offer you fantastic exposure to the business and key responsibilities will include:
- End to end ownership over the preparation of monthly and half yearly reporting and analysis;
- Preparation of insights and commentary for reporting and forecasting purposes;
- Ownership of the Peer reporting cycle including; planning analysis and commentary;
- Identification and execution of initiatives focused on improvement to processes and reporting
- Finance business partner to global stakeholders, helping them to understand revenue and cost drivers and provide inputs to drive commercial and operational decision making;
- Analyse and report actual financial and non-financial KPI performance against budget/ forecast;
- Working closely with cost centre owners to develop and monitor budget and forecasts including revenue, expenses and headcount;
- Be able to own and maintain regional and group 3-way financial forecast models (P&L, BS and cashflow), including monthly rolling forecast;
- Preparation of performance reports and presentations for internal & external stakeholders;
Key skills and attributes required for this role:
- At least 5+ years FP&A or Finance Business Partnering experience, complemented with a full CA/CPA qualification;
- Financial modelling with experience building 3-way financial models;
- Open to all industry types, provided you can demonstrate experience operating in a high growth or complex organisation;
- Banking / Payments industry experience considered an advantage;
- Ability to handle large data sets;
- Experienced using enterprise planning and reporting software such as TM1;
- Demonstrated problem solving skills in navigating through ambiguity and complexity;
