**About the company**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administration Officer to join their claims department and play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient handling of insurance claims.
**About the role**:
As an Administration Officer, you will be at the heart of our claims team, ensuring the smooth flow of processes and providing crucial administrative assistance.
- Accurately enter claim data into the claims management system and update claim status as required.
- Facilitate communication between various internal departments, external vendors, and third-party service providers involved in the claims process
- Ensure that all claims processes and procedures adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as costing a claim, booking assessments, paying invoices, responding to customers' queries, and any other general task to progress a claim.
**About you**:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an insurance claims department or a related industry.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to manage large volumes of claims.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and claims management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Ideally knowledge of insurance principles, claim processes, and regulations is beneficial.
**Benefits**:
- $35 per hour + super
- Full Time Hours, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm
- South Brisbane location
- 3 months with potential for extension
- ASAP Start Date (pending police clearance)
