**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a School Executive Assistant to join School of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Academic Division.

The School Executive Assistant (SEA) provides executive support to the Head of School and high quality administration support to the School. The position requires high level organisation and communication skills. The SEA works collaboratively with the Senior School Coordinator and other staff to support the school’s activities.

About the School

The School of Computer Science has over 45 academic staff and 1744 equivalent full-time students (representing nearly 14,000 unit enrolments). The staff and higher degree research students lead and conduct research and teaching that has a real world impact, through a focus on innovations that are smart, safe, and satisfying.

The School conducts fundamental and applied research into creating better, faster, more secure, and more accessible computing and interactive systems. Our research seeks to support a range of users, including people with diverse abilities, cultures and backgrounds, in interacting safely, effectively and engagingly with data, devices, and each other. **What you need to succeed**

To thrive in this role, you will be someone who enjoys taking the initiative to provide excellent service and support across a broad range of activities each day.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma with at least two years’ subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to provide confidential executive support and to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work
