Our Mungari Gold Operations (MGO) are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving employees the luxury of coming home every day.
About the role
With exciting growth happening across our operations, we are now looking for an experienced Business Partner to join our People and Culture team. Someone who is excited at the idea of providing dedicated support to their allocated business units at our Mungari Gold Operations and is keen to make a positive impact in their role. This role offers:
- 5:2/4:3 10 hour days or 4:3 12 hour days
- Full time, part time or job share available
- Residential or FIFO ex-Perth + relocation to Kalgoorlie on offer
- Long life of mine = job security
This opportunity will allow you to further develop your technical skills, learning and engaging with stakeholders across our mining operations and the broader People and Culture team.
About you
As a passionate people and culture professional, you demonstrate a ‘people first’ mindset, strive for excellence, have strong attention to detail, take accountability for your work and understand what’s needed to progress maturity, psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing in the mining industry.
Naturally, you are an effective communicator (verbal and written), able to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Working in a collaborative team you will be open to feedback, respect other’s opinions and challenge constructively to build trust and create an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work.
**You will have**:
- Qualifications in human resources (or a relevant related discipline)
- Experience conducting investigations, managing ER matters and annual HR processes
- Confident Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint user
- Mining industry experience
- Experience using SuccessFactors and INX (highly regarded).
