Patrick is an established and leading terminal operator providing container stevedoring services in the Australian market.

**The Role**

This newly created position is responsible for developing and delivering the Qube sustainability plan through engaging with business operations, initiating renewable energy assessments, advising on existing and emerging zero-carbon technologies and promoting sustainability across Qube. In addition, the role will be required to work with the business in respect to TCFD assessment and reporting.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Own the development and delivery of the Qube Low Carbon Future Plan
- Provide advice, guidance in respect to current and emerging technologies to support a low carbon future
- Seek opportunities for funding (external) for sustainability initiatives
- Provide advice to internal committee’s and senior leadership team
- Prepare TCFD annual disclosure statement

**About you**

You are not one to sit behind a desk and enjoy getting out amongst the business to build sound relationships and share your knowledge, as well listen to ascertain how you can best support the business to make an impact. You relish autonomy and are not afraid to move forward, even when things are not perfect. You are a strategic thinker, with the ability to create a robust long-term sustainability platform to support the continued growth of the business, as well identify quick wins that can be implemented. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and putting in when the job demands and are most comfortable working in a flat structure.

In addition to your strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in strategy, sustainability, environmental management, science, or related field
- Experience working with a multi-dimension industrial organisation, ASX listed experience will be highly regarded
- Proven ability to work through challenges and to work with business partners on positive outcomes
- Experience within business data analytics and sustainability reporting
