**About the Project**

New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce:

- High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d
- Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse
- A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine.
- A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for an experienced **Sustainability Manager** to play a key role in the design/planning phase as well as project delivery. Reporting into the Project Director, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Sustainability Advisors & Coordinators to manage and enhance the sustainability performance of the project and ensuring compliance for all project works

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Lead, coordinate and provide day to day specialist sustainability support to internal stakeholders, including Group and Regional Sustainability teams
- Identification and effective management of sustainability risks
- Embed sustainability requirements into the design and procurement process and sustainability accountabilities are communicated to the project team
- Develop, manage, and lead the continual technical improvement of project sustainability management systems
- Liaise with government bodies and professional organisations on sustainability matters
- Establish, monitor, and report on key sustainability performance objectives and standards for managing project sustainability risks
- Manage sustainability performance and reporting, including performance tracking
- Manage sustainability consultants and the collection of sustainability monitoring information
- Manage and support the development of sustainability team personnel in leading practices and driving improvement

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or other associated disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Sustainability Advisory or Sustainability Management role within the Construction industry or similar.
- Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP)
- Proven experience in delivery ISCA rated projects - Design & Construct
