**About the role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Administration Officer to join the DG Group team. Reporting directly to the Business Services Manager, this position will see you support our busy and dynamic team to drive and achieve enterprise excellence. This is a permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8.00am - 4.00pm, flexibility available.
In accordance with the vision and values of DG Group, the DG Administration Assistant will coordinate the smooth running of the invoicing department, by carrying out a range of tasks including but not limited to:
- Establish and maintain processes and procedures for the invoicing department in consultation with management
- Coordination of the invoicing department, particularly Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Creating and distribution of customer invoices
- Assist clients with invoice queries/concerns and escalate where required
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Including but not limited to answering incoming phone calls, assisting with filing, meet & greet visitors
- Data entry
- Management of employee uniform process
- Accounts receivables duties; enter remittances and regularly follow up clients with outstanding invoices past due dates
- Prepare reports for key customers with information from Fergus & Xero
**Minimum Requirements for the role**:
- A minimum of 2 years administration experience, ideally invoicing experience
- Data base experience
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to take initiative and have a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work unsupervised and able to communicate at all levels.
- Xero experience ideal but not essential
We are a well-established family run business with over 40 staff in the plumbing industry and are looking for someone that fits in to our tight-knit, family friendly and loyal team. Located in Altona North, full on the job training will be provided.
