**About the Role**
The Major Loss & Specialty Site Supervisor role is a multi-site-based position working alongside the team’s estimators, project managers, project coordinators, contractors/suppliers and key stake holders, whilst reporting directly into the TAS Project Manager.
- Southern Tasmania Site Locations
The role comprises the many facets, inclusive of the following but not limited too, the delivery of site based WHS compliance requirements, overall delivery of works and site supervision of the allocated projects, to ensure the high level site safety, quality, timely and cost-effective delivery of projects to our clients in line with legislative and company policy’s.
**Key activities include**:
- Working under the direction of the TAS Project Manager
- Active input into repair methodologies for each individual site-based project’s
- Organisation, scheduling of allocated projects working in with estimators, project coordinators, project managers, contractors/suppliers, and other key stakeholders
- Strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames
- Liaising with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates
- Attending and chairing site meetings with circulation of minutes
- Ensuring site compliance with all legal and operational WHS requirements
**Key Professional Skills and Qualifications (required)**:
- Certificate III Carpentry and Building
- Minimum five to seven years working as a site supervisor/foremen under a licensed builder running multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in both domestic and commercial construction projects
- The ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- The ability to use Microsoft computer suites
- Maintain professional communications and manner at all times
**Key Professional Skills and Qualifications (desirable)**:
- Certificate IV Building
- Thorough understanding of the construction process, methodology, critical inspection/hold points, required statutory compliance and WHS compliance
- Track record of establishing and maintaining long term relationships/accounts
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Proactive and outcome focused
- High attention to detail with excellent communication
