Senior Civil Supervisor, Bridgewater Bridge. Excellent salary and benefits.

**Your new company**
This leading Civil Company is after a Senior Supervisor to join their team in Tasmania, for the Bridgewater Bridge Project.

**Your new role**
You will be working with a dynamic team focusing on the coordination and supervision of construction activities, safety, quality, environment, community, subcontractor relations and financial tracking. You will be a competent and confident leader who can communicate effectively with the team and subcontractors.

You will be Responsible for
- Supervising and managing a team and subcontractors
- Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others.
- Collaborating with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Mentoring, coaching, and upskilling the team and other supervisors across the project.
- Planning, calculating, and monitoring daily cost of resources
- Working to target budgets
- Leading a culture of safety and productivity
- Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings
- Working knowledge of plant capability and appropriate selection for required tasks

**What you'll need to succeed**
You need to have experience in the civil sector, or a trades qualification relevant to construction. Be able to motivate and lead a team from the front, show initiative and exuberate energy while at work.

You will have:

- Trades qualification relevant to the construction, building or manufacturing industries.
- Must have held a position as Foreman or Supervisor
- Sound knowledge on the designated project - previous works on bridges is desirable
- Good leadership skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
