**Your new company**
Hays Office Support are currently seeking a Payroll Supervisor for a well-known Tasmanian organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & assist with administrative requirements relating to payroll and financial services. This organisation is Tasmania’s largest passenger transport company. The role will require full-time hours and will be offered as a permanent position.

**Your new role**
Based in the northern suburbs of Hobart, our client is an organisation that focuses on passenger transport for the community, providing modern and efficient transportation. As the Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting a small team, to complete the payroll process for approximately 500 staff. You will provide administrative support in managing documentation, including maintaining accurate records and analysing payroll data. **What you'll need to succeed**
To be the successful applicant you'll have demonstrated experienced working in an administrative role. In addition, you will have;
- Proven capabilities to employ your existing experience to effectively support a high tempo team
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts and relevant payroll legislation
- Experience in processing payroll master file changes, including new appointments, terminations, and salary amendments
- Knowledge around calculating worker’s compensation payments from relevant data
