They have an enviable reputation as not only one of Australia’s oldest institutes, but also one of the most successful and with an appeal to all ages and demography in Australia, their legacy continues to grow.
As a result of further growth, they are looking to add a talented Accounts Payable Officer to their team.
They are located in the Sydney CBD close to public transport, and also offer hybrid work-from-home options.
**The Role**:
Your role as an Accounts Payable Officer is a full-function opportunity, working closely within a finance team of 20 and other non-finance stakeholders in the business. As the AP Officer, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for:
- Processing invoices (approximately 100 invoices a day)
- Handling enquiries and managing the inbox
- Processing expenses
- Foreign currency payments
- Dealing with suppliers and setting up the system
- Creditor reconciliation reports
**Your Background**:
To be considered for this Accounts Payable Officer position, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Immediately available
- Cool, calm, and collected personality
- End-to-end AP experience
- Previous experience in a higher volume role is preferred but not crucial
- Open to manual systems
