This dynamic organisation significantly influences and contributes to Australia’s economic wellbeing; they are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join their collaborative team.

Reporting into the Director, Communications, Internal Communications Manager to support their team for an initial 6 month contract ideally to start immediately, with potential for permanent.

This key role will be responsible for delivering on a program of work, which includes the rollout of a significant volume of changes across the business and several ongoing communication campaigns. You will be a key member of the project team to deliver their new SharePoint Intranet platform.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Act as the ‘product owner’ for internal communications channels, especially the intranet platform (myconnect).
- Oversee the successful delivery of the new myconnect Intranet platform on SharePoint
- Representing the Internal Communications function in various meetings, forums etc
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of internal communications methodologies and tools;
- Providing coaching, guidance and support on effective communications to various staff across the Agency; and
- Assisting with the definition and oversight of communication plans both for strategic projects as well as day-to-day organisational initiatives and change

**You will have**:

- Tertiary qualified in communications, public relations or journalism
- Demonstrable internal communications experience, together with exposure working with SharePoint
- Proven leadership experience and exposure managing staff
- Previous experience working in a communication function within medium to large organisations
- Previously managed an Intranet platform and be familiar with the operations of the content management system, ideally SharePoint
- Worked with strategic programs to drive organisational-wide change initiatives
- Experience in advisory or consultative roles, including providing communications advice at various levels working in government, finance or investment business environment
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, you pride yourself on your ability to develop and execute communication activities in an environment of change and transformation
