The role
Our Finance Branch is seeking a dynamic Manager, Practice Management Support to lead our skilled team in optimising Own Source Revenue (OSR) generated from private practice. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in managing the facilitation of OSR through innovative and sustainable private practice arrangements, ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements while providing strategic leadership and expert advice. You will oversee Queensland Health's Practice Management Enterprise Solution and associated contractual obligations, driving efficiencies and effectiveness across the board.
This position offers a unique opportunity to identify and capitalise on new opportunities, establish robust systems, and implement solutions that significantly enhance capability, efficiency, and effectiveness in private practice within Queensland Health.
The successful person

**You will have demonstrated**:

- Strong personal leadership in steering direction and enhancing service delivery within the Private Practice Management Program.
- Understanding in legislation, agreements, and policy frameworks crucial for optimising OSR from healthcare services delivered by HHSs.
- Strong skills in identifying issues, conducting analysis, and developing innovative solutions, providing strategic advice on complex matters.
- Understanding of Queensland Health's public hospital funding model and its interactions with other funding streams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including advanced written, negotiation, and consultation abilities.
