**Brand Communicator**

- Does taking a market-leading brand and developing its brand story, from the ground up interest you?
Lucas’ Papaw Remedies, the company that produces the famous Lucas’ Papaw Ointment found in the little red tube is searching for a creative, inspired, and motivated person to bring the brand to life, from the ground up This position will need a person who is prepared to do the leg work but also be instrumental in the strategy of how the story is told.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop the strategy before launching the brand in other markets around the world. Lucas’ Papaw Remedies has (up until a year ago) not invested a dime into communicating its quality, history, and passion. We’ve let the products do the talking, but we believe it is time to step into the light

- A family-owned business with 25 dedicated staff
- Rich 112-year history (founded in 1910)
- TGA Listed (Therapeutic Goods Administration)
- Currently have products ranging in:
- Grocery stores (Woolworths/ Coles etc)
- Independents (IGA/ Drakes etc)
- Pharmacies (Terry white/ Priceline)
- Discount Pharmacies (Chemist Warehouse)
- Petrol and Convenience (Coles Express, 7/11, BP, etc)
- Duty-free (Airports)
- Costco
- Coming soon - Department stores (Bunnings/ Anaconda etc)
- Officially export to 4 countries with expansion into 10 more soon
- Low staff turnover with 95% of staff being in the business for 5 years or more. Some more than 12 years.
**A little about the role**:
- Work in a 112-year-old family business in Brisbane, Queensland
- Become part of the Lucas’ PBrand Capaw Remedies team of 25 staff
- Permanent employment opportunity
- Flexible work location & hours (on/ off-site)
- The factory is open 5 days a week (Mon - Thurs 6:45 am - 3:30 pm and Friday 6:45 am - 11:45 am)
- The office is open Mon - Fri 6:45 am - 6:30 pm
- $70,000 - $120,000 a year, plus super
- Work with our product distributors on quarterly brand activation and marketing plans
- Work on product launches in new markets
- Develop retailer-specific brand activations such as shelf checkout packs or sliders
- Work with content creators, ambassadors, brand partners, events
- FMCG and TGA experience recommended but not critical
