The Opportunity
- Build robust governance frameworks that set the standard for the industry while ensuring every dollar is accurately valued and properly reported
- Develop and implement UniSuper's Valuation Governance Framework, ensuring compliance with Prudential Standard SPS 530
- Oversee quarterly independent valuations for unlisted assets, working with external valuers on infrastructure, private equity, and property investments
- Review valuation reports and challenge assumptions, ensuring methodologies align with UniSuper's policies while interrogating complex financial models
- Prepare high-level reporting for board meetings and management committees, providing market updates and valuation insights that inform strategic decisions
- Drive process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and governance across valuation workflows

- Build your professional reputation with external valuers, big-four firms, and industry regulators while gaining exposure to board-level reporting that accelerates progression toward executive roles

About You
- CA or CPA qualification with extensive valuation experience, ideally from a big-four professional services firm
- Background in superannuation, investment accounting, or financial services that gives you the context to navigate complex environments effectively
- Analytical mind that thrives on detail and accuracy while maintaining the ability to see the bigger picture and communicate complex concepts clearly
- Strong relationship builder who works effectively with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally
- Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
- Methodical yet pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills that support sophisticated financial modelling and analysis
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities that help you influence effectively at all organisational levels
- Someone who takes pride in meaningful work and understands that behind every valuation is a member's retirement security
- Motivated by responsibility and driven to deliver excellence consistently in everything you do
