**About Brand Collective**:
**The opportunity**:
We are currently recruiting for our
**Payroll Manager** to join our team here in Richmond. The Payroll Manager will report to our General Manager - Finance, with a dotted line into General Manager - People & Culture, and will own the execution of our Payroll function.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- End-to-end processing of company payroll (weekly and monthly) for Australia and NZ employees, including ad-hoc pays, bonuses, novated leasing reconciliations and other adjustments
- Payroll across multiple legal entities
- Leadership of one direct report
- Managing all key processing functions relating to the payment of employees, including timely entry of new hires, terminations, reconciliations, leave, employment changes, deductions and entitlements
- Managing and maintaining all documentation and records pertaining to payroll
- Managing legislative requirements weekly, monthly and annually (Superannuation, FBT, bonuses, Payroll Tax, Payment Summaries, Worker's Compensation etc.)
- Responding to payroll enquiries
- Reporting and analysis of payroll data and other HRIS reports as required
- Frequently review and adapt payroll processes and systems to provide efficiencies
- Assist with other tasks in the Finance or P&C Department as requested
- Be a key driver in the new HRIS system implementation, Ceridian

**About you**:

- A retail-industry-based operator, you are keenly aware of compliance relating to the General Retail Industry Award 2020, the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020, the Fair Work Act 2009, Long Service Leave legislative requirements by state, the Holidays Act 2003 and legal/financial concepts such as BOOT
- You have exposure to HR3, Ceridian Dayforce & Riteq
- You have participated in a large-scale payroll change project (ideally to Dayforce)
- Periodic reporting of FBT/Superannuation/Payroll Tax/WGEA/EOFY etc.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll compliance across Australia and New Zealand
- You are experienced in managing a similar end-to-end payroll service within a large organisation
- A passion for fashion apparel, footwear & sportswear
- Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Business Administration or similar
