About the Role

- A great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Accounting Specialist to join the dynamic team at Endeavour Group
- A hybrid role - great office location in Richmond, Melbourne; with work from home arrangements available

As the Payroll Accounting Specialist, you will work within a supportive team to deliver national payroll accurately and on-time every week.

Here’s a snapshot of the Payroll Accounting Specialist responsibilities:

- Performing month-end superannuation reconciliation, followed by file submission
- On-going monitoring of superannuation rejections and redirections.
- Reconciling payroll postings and General Ledger accounts
- Ensuring PAYG tax is reconciled each pay, and submitted to Finance for payment
- Managing superannuation fund set up and compliance
- Assisting with monthly Payroll Tax submissions and the annual Payroll Tax return
- Timely resolution of payroll cases using Service Now
- SME for Pay-Day Superannuation at Endeavour Group
- Maintain and manage payroll process and policy documentation as required and actively share knowledge and cross skill team members
- Identify key risk areas and develop/implement action plans to ensure ongoing compliance

What do we need from you

Now let’s talk about you:

- You will bring to the role a strong knowledge and understanding of Australian Payroll and superannuation
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
- Systems experience - SAP ECP is desirable, Service Now and/or UKG is also ideal.
- Experience working in larger organisations, within a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Australian legislation and award interpretation.
- Ability to solve complex problems relating to payroll and superannuation.
- Excellent time management skills, eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to document and deliver process improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
