THE ROLE

**Are you**:

- Experienced at building and maintaining effective relationships with many stakeholders
- Effective at managing multiple tasks at the same time and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in running effective project governance processes

The Portfolio Project Officer role is within the Portfolio Management team, which is part of the broader Enterprise Portfolio Governance Unit. The team supports the organisation to effectively manage its portfolio of programs with a strong focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the project management capabilities. This role supports the transformation to digital ways of working for project management at Homes Victoria while ensuring appropriate governance of the portfolio of projects and programs.
The role will be responsible for coordinating Homes Victoria program governance forums; building stakeholder relationships; preparing meeting papers, agendas and minute taking. More broadly, supporting the team's activities to uplift the program management practices including the establishment of the new digital program management tool.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Support the design and implementation of the governance arrangements for the Portfolio Management team's oversight role for the Homes Victoria program delivery program.
- Arrange governance meetings including liaison with senior stakeholders coordinating papers, preparing team's papers, terms of reference, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions.
- Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders demonstrating value in each interaction and maintaining stakeholder records and lists.
