Who you are

Do you enjoy working in a hands-on environment? To be in the running for our next Sales Co-worker, we need you to have:

- A passion for our home furnishing products and working with customers

- Creative thinking and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- A calm and confident approach along with strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks
- A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.
- Available to work a range of morning and evening shifts and have full weekend availability.

**Your responsibilities**

As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact our customers’ experience by being able to offer solutions and answer questions that relate to their home furnishing needs.
- Actively approach customer to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
- Being an expert and passionate about the Home Organisation and Home Decoration/Live Plants range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Live Plants range.
- Analysing sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
- Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits.
- Supporting other Sales areas within the business when required.

The Market Hall is a second part of the shopping journey, a place where customers can pick up products to bring life to their new home solutions. Not only do we have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people

This opportunity is Permanent, Full-Time 76 hours/fortnight.
