WHO YOU ARE
As an IKEA Sales Coordinator, you demonstrate a passion for food and people’s life at home. You have a love and commitment to food and its quality and presentation. You have excellent communication skills and can influence and communicate effectively on all levels. You have strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and support the department team operationally. You are a true customer advocate who takes pride in the service and are able to act upon customer feedback so they can expect a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable and joyful food experience. You will have full-time availability, including up to 3 out of 4 weekends.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Support and coach co-workers within the team to maximise sales and provide a positive customer experience
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the team and provide feedback on team performance to the Shopkeeper
- Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services and tools to secure a high level of competence within the team whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional responsibility in this area
- Encourage the team to actively sales steer the department’s top-selling products, prioritised products and IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
- Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
